Any concerns raised regarding our customers are promptly logged into our internal system. If necessary, they are escalated to the safeguarding teams within the respective local authority. Central teams oversee this process to ensure effective management of all concerns and prioritize the wellbeing of our customers. Following any incidents, our teams thoroughly review the situation, communicate with affected customers, and determine ways to enhance our services accordingly.
We maintain a stringent recruitment process for all our staff, encompassing reference checks and enhanced DBS checks for roles involving direct interaction with our customers.
Prior to commencing their roles, all staff members undergo a comprehensive one-day Safeguarding training session. Additionally, they participate in annual e-learning assessments to ensure their continued understanding. Our staff have access to various Safeguarding Policies and Procedures for guidance, and an on-call Manager is available round-the-clock for any assistance needed.
Rest assured that your loved one will receive top-notch support with us. Each of our customers is paired with a dedicated Support Worker upon joining our services. Together, they craft a personalized support plan detailing individual goals and strategies for attainment. Additionally, we facilitate connections with other organizations capable of providing further assistance.
From the outset, we assist our customers in preparing for independent living and remain steadfast in supporting them throughout the process. We understand that transitioning can be a nerve-wracking experience.
You may have already experienced the complexities of the health and social care system before joining BAC, gaining insights into what has or hasn’t been effective in the past. Therefore, in alignment with each customer’s preferences and suitability, we strive to engage you as much as feasible.
