What We Do
BEST ALTERNATIVE CARE delivers a housing-related support service tailored to the specific practical and emotional needs of individuals within the local communities we serve.
Through our organization, we implement a psychologically informed approach to care and support, aiming to assist customers in their homes and minimize the necessity for hospital in-patient admissions.
Our service offers personalized one-on-one support, both flexible and comprehensive, operating from 7am to 10pm, 365 days a year. This support empowers individuals to comprehend and effectively manage their mental health autonomously.


What can BAC do?
The BEST ALTERNATIVE CARE Way – means we help people to:
- Achieve maximum independence and thrive within their local community.
- Support is delivered by Support Time and Recovery (STR) workers, who engage individuals on a one-on-one basis within their residences.
- These workers can aid with routine tasks like daily living skills, appointment attendance, and accessing advice and advocacy services.
- Additionally, they offer assistance in managing both physical and mental wellbeing, as well as guiding individuals toward participation in social, community groups, and meaningful activities.


Who is the service for? This service is for people:
- For individuals residing in the community with mental health requirements who may experience social isolation and solitude:
- Requiring assistance with daily living tasks and potentially capable of enhancing skills through personalized one-on-one support.
- Needing aid in medication management.
- Could benefit from the development of self-management strategies for mental health.

About our staff, our staff team
