Our supported living services.
These services are tailored for individuals aged 16-25 who are in or transitioning out of care, including young parents and their children, as well as Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
Our support is centered around the individual, enabling young people to make their own decisions, and covers a spectrum of needs from low to high.
Our staff provide practical and emotional assistance across various areas including safety, relationships, housing, finances, education, training, employment, physical, mental, and sexual health, among others. Our team comprises individuals with diverse qualifications and experiences working with young people, including several Specialist Support Workers.
Well trained staff
Our staff are equipped with specialized training to assist young individuals with diverse and complex needs and experiences, such as abuse and exploitation, mental health challenges, and involvement in offending behaviour.
Within each service team, there is a designated staff member who has undergone additional training in child exploitation awareness, encompassing both criminal and sexual exploitation.
These services operate on a spot-purchase basis, wherein the referring local authority funds the placement of the young person. We maintain close collaboration with the local authorityand the young person, conducting regular reviews of their needs. This allows us to adjust their support package, accordingly, accommodating changes in their needs and level of independence without necessitating a change in their living situation.
