BAC Supported Housing offers essential accommodation and assistance to various groups, including disabled individuals, the homeless, those with mental health challenges, survivors of domestic abuse, and more.
Easing Pressure off NHS
Supported housing provided by BAC alleviates the strain on the NHS and care services while also saving approximately £940 per resident annually from the public budget.
This includes:
- Offering housing and assistance to elderly individuals to help them maintain their independence, whether in our supported accommodation or within their own homes in the community.
- Providing emergency refuge and support for victims of domestic abuse, helping to stabilise their family life and engage with other services.
- Collaborating with homeless individuals dealing with mental health challenges, including those with complex and multiple needs, to secure sustainable housing, education, training, or employment opportunities.
- Assisting individuals with mental health issues as needed to stabilize, recover, and achieve greater independence.
- Supporting veterans in finding a secure residence, with particular attention to those with mental health concerns or physical disabilities.
- Offering long-term support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to enhance their independence and assert control over their lives.
